The Templars of Alderath Release

It's out! This post is the release announcement for my new book The Templars of Alderath.

The Templars of Alderath Release

The Templars of Alderath is officially out.

This story started as a dream before it ever found its way onto the page, and seeing it become real feels both humbling and deeply satisfying. This is the book I set out to write, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.

The ebook is available now on Amazon for Kindle and is included with Kindle Unlimited.

Summary

For generations, the Empire has ruled with iron law and Arcane fire—branding the faithful as heretics and crushing dissent with Inquisitors and fear. In the quiet river town of Winthrop, the Hawthorne family survives by keeping their faith hidden. But when the resurfacing of long-lost Templars sparks political panic, the Empire turns its full gaze upon them…and everything they know is ripped away in a single night.

Forced into a desperate flight, Dain, Elise, Garrick, and Liora uncover long-buried truths of the fallen Templars—truths that expose the Empire’s lies. As rebellion stirs and ancient darkness rises, the Hawthornes must face treachery and harrowing trials as the fate of a realm hangs in the balance.

The Templars of Alderath opens a sweeping new epic fantasy saga for readers drawn to long roads, impossible choices, and rich characters who refuse to break.

What You Will Experience

This is classic epic fantasy at heart. There are real dangers and real fights, but I’m not interested in brutality for its own sake. There’s no graphic violence, no sex, no fixation on darkness or despair. The story leans toward hope—toward family, faith, teamwork, and the belief that people can rise above their worst moments. The drama is real, the stakes matter, and things do go wrong, but the point isn’t to grind the characters down. It’s to see what they become when they’re tested.

At the end of the journey, I want readers to feel uplifted. I want them to look back and think, That was a long road—but it was worth it. This book is for readers who enjoy watching characters struggle, fail, and grow into something stronger than they were at the start. For those who love paladins and holy warriors, big moral choices, themes of sacrifice and forgiveness, and epic climaxes where good doesn’t win easily—but does win meaningfully. My hope is that the characters and their journey stay with you long after you close the book.

Conclusion

I’m proud of how this book turned out. It tells the story I set out to tell, the way I wanted to tell it—one that keeps you turning the page, lets the characters stumble and grow, and brings their journeys together in a way that feels earned. This was always meant to be a complete road walked from beginning to end, and I’m glad it finally gets to live in readers’ hands instead of just my head.

If you’re looking for an epic fantasy built on hope, conviction, and hard-won triumph—one that values the journey as much as the destination—I’d be honored to have you come along.

The Templars of Alderath is available now on Amazon and included with Kindle Unlimited. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did telling it.
